Recognize the symptoms
Congestion, Wi-Fi interference, DNS issues and ISP traffic management can all look like throttling. Compare different times of day and test another network before drawing a conclusion.
Run simple network checks
Test wired versus wireless, restart the router, check packet loss and compare ordinary speed tests with actual streaming behaviour. Consistent problems across many services usually point to the local connection.
Try legitimate network options
Changing DNS, improving Wi-Fi placement or using a reputable VPN where lawful can help diagnose routing or traffic-management problems. A VPN is not a substitute for fixing weak local Wi-Fi.
Escalate with evidence
If the issue persists, record timestamps, affected channels and test results so the ISP or service support team can investigate efficiently.
